Your resume and cover letter are processed in your browser. This application does not upload your resume content to an application server, remote AI provider or public profile. There is no account or cloud document sync.
Session-only editing
By default, documents remain in the current page session. Closing or refreshing the page can discard unsaved session data. Export a JSON backup if you want to retain it.
Save on this device
If you enable Save on this device, your documents and selected document are saved in this browser’s local storage under the key nepocore-resume-v1. The information includes contact details, career content, cover letters and template choices. Local storage persists until you remove it or the browser clears it; it has no fixed expiry.
Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access the saved documents. Browser or device backups may also retain local data. This is not an encrypted vault. Turn off saving to remove the stored collection, or use My documents → Clear all documents. Downloaded files must be removed separately.
Writing coach and job descriptions
Writing suggestions and keyword comparisons are computed locally. Pasted job descriptions are held only in the page session. No AI API is connected. The app does not intentionally add resume content to URLs or analytics events.
Hosting and resources
Fonts, scripts and the PDF library are served with the website. This resume application includes no advertising or analytics tag. The hosting provider receives ordinary network request information and may retain infrastructure or security logs under its policies. Private preview hosting may require the owner to sign in; that host’s authentication is separate from resume storage.
PDF and text imports
Text-based PDFs, TXT files, pasted text and JSON backups are processed locally. PDF text extraction uses bundled PDF.js without a document action runner. Imports create an editable draft: confirm that names, dates, roles and sections are correct. Image-only scans are not transcribed. Files are limited to 5 MB and PDFs to 10 pages.
Imports, exports and contact
JSON backups contain personal information. Store and share them carefully. Imported backups are read locally. If you email a support request, email providers process your address, message and attachments. Use fictional data when reporting a bug.
